Crossway is known for publishing gospel-centered, Bible-centered content. Now they will sell a beautiful, affordable set of 2,000 toasters that have the entire Bible printed on them. Astounding!
Allen Richardson, spokesman for the Christian publishing company, let the cat out of the bag yesterday in a statement through Christianity Today: “After the incredible success of last years ESV Reader’s Bible, a beautiful Bible in a six-volume set; 2015’s Bible For Those 7-Feet Tall, and 2012’s Bible Only For Ronald Reagan’s Direct Descendants, we are thrilled to unveil our newest Bible: The Toaster Bible, a set of 2,000 toasters with the entire Bible printed on them.”
Justin Taylor, the executive vice president of book publishing and writer of Between Two Worlds, a blog hosted at TheGospelCoalition.org, commented via Twitter, “Let’s be honest: Crossway has published every kind of Bible for every kind of person that ever existed ever. The Toaster Bible is the next logical step.”
Many estimate that The Toaster Bible will cost anywhere between $30,000-$50,000. Wow!
